Here are some of the Questions and Answers addressed during the webinar:
1. Can an extension for Magento 1.x be listed on Magento Marketplace?
Ans: Yes, you can provide your own module be it for Magento 1 or Magento 2. Basically, you will have to package based on the versions of Magento 1 or Magento 2 and you will have to design it accordingly based on the initial information that is provided correctly.
2. If I get warnings in the technical review and no errors, is that a concern?
Ans: The warnings are not of very high severity – if there are errors, they should be fixed first. However, once the errors are fixed, one should move to the warnings and resolve the issues there too, so as to avoid future complications.
3. To list extension in the marketplace, is it mandatory to be a Magento partner?
Ans: No, to list an extension on the Magento Marketplace you do not need to a Magento partner. If you are a developer and want to list your extension, you simply need to follow the steps with proper functionalities and descriptions and after you pass the reviews, your extension would be listed on the Magento marketplace.
