In this article, we are going to go through the steps involved in the flow of Invoice data from SAP B1 to Salesforce. For the process of syncing the Sales Invoice data, we will use APPSeCONNECT, a best-in-the-class iPaaS Solution. This solution connects and integrates any kind of business application based on the requirement of the owners. Only a smart and robust application will facilitate the seamless transfer of data.
‘A/R Invoice’ is the only document that is mandatory to complete the sales process. It makes the sales process more efficient and effective as it contains all the required functions found in both a sales order and delivery document. It is a commercial document which maintains the list of transactions between buyer and seller and lists all the inventory items bought or services used, discounts issued and delivery information. In the sales process, Invoice can be created directly or converted from order and have same data as Order, the data includes Customer, Products, Quantity etc.
For example, in a sales process Order will be converted into Invoice in SAP B1. The converted Invoice should be synced from SAP to Salesforce, so that salesperson can view the Invoice in Salesforce. It’s very important to maintain same data at both ends(SAP B1 and Salesforce). If there are a huge number of Invoices, it becomes more difficult to enter details manually without any fault and consumes a lot of time. APPSeCONNECT is an integration tool which helps you maintain same business data at both ends and amplifies revenue numbers.
As there is no standard ‘Invoice object’ in Salesforce, a custom Invoice object is created and used to sync Invoices from SAP to Salesforce.
