GITEX Global 2023, the world’s largest annual tech and startup show, recently returned for its 43rd edition. And much like last year, APPSeCONNECT was once again present during the event to showcase our intelligent, low-code integration platform as well as to connect with other industry leaders and tech experts.

This year, the focus was mostly on AI, with the slogan for the event being “The year to imagine AI in everything”. From the moment the event kicked off on day 1 till the very end, every moment was thoroughly enjoyable, memorable, and filled with super insightful meetings and conversations with some of the best minds in the tech domain from all around the world.

What is GITEX Global?

GITEX Global is known for being one of the most iconic and large-scale technology exhibitions in the world. Held annually in Dubai, the event combines an extensive exhibition featuring leading tech companies and a conference agenda that addresses various aspects of the digital economy. It serves as a significant gateway for the technology industry, providing a platform for showcasing the latest innovations, trends, and products in the tech sector. The event typically takes place over several days, allowing participants to explore the latest tech trends, network with peers, and gain insights into the future of technology.

GITEX Global 2023 – Event Overview

This year’s GITEX Global 2023 took place in the World Trade Center, Dubai, from October 16th to October 20th. More than 6,000 companies and 1,400 speakers from over 170 countries were present at the event, making it a huge success in terms of participation. As previously mentioned, the main highlight of the event was Artificial Intelligence. Along with that, some of the other key topics presented and discussed during the event included cloud computing, cybersecurity, quantum technologies, and Web 3.0 to name a few.

The main purpose of GITEX has always revolved around two factors:

  1. Provide a massive global platform for businesses, innovators, and leaders in the tech sector to showcase their products, ideas, and solutions.
  2. Offer highly beneficial networking opportunities for businesses by interacting with other organizations within the same sector or niche.

And it was definitely an absolute joy to see these factors come to life, as APPSeCONNECT was in awe to witness the innovations presented by many companies and startups. We also made the most out of the opportunity to build strategic partnerships by interacting with many other businesses that also revolve around eCommerce and enterprise applications.

Highlights of APPSeCONNECT at GITEX Global 2023

APPSeCONNECT was represented at the GITEX Global 2023 by our esteemed CEO and Co-founder Atul Gupta, along with Subhajit Goswami, VP of Global Business Development. Our booth was set up at Stand P-16 in Hall 26, and soon after, we immediately jumped into the action.

Right from the first day, we wasted no time exploring the event by taking a quick tour of the venue and the companies that were present with their own stalls. Over the course of the next four days, we linked up with many of our existing partners and also established connections with representatives from other companies to open the possibility of strategic partnerships in the near future.

GITEX Global is an excellent platform for networking and exploring business possibilities, and we stayed on top of our game in this regard.

Marking Our Presence in the MENA Region

GITEX Global was not just an insightful tech event, but also an excellent opportunity for APPSeCONNECT to further solidify our presence in the MENA region. We connected with many local businesses that were also involved in eCommerce and enterprise applications, slowly but certainly making our presence more pronounced in the region.

Final Words

Overall, GITEX Global 2023 was a memorable experience that presented us with the opportunity to highlight our integration platform, personally connect with partners and other key players in the industry and pave the way for powerful business relationships in the future. The event took things a notch higher than last year, and the theme of ‘imagining AI in everything’ was spot on, considering the sudden advancements in AI technology in recent times.
