Kolkata & Hyderabad, India – September 24, 2022 – APPSeCONNECT – A leading provider of integration solutions, recently hosted a 34-hour Integration Hackathon event that brought together developers, engineers, designers and integration experts from across the organization and beyond. The event resulted in the launch of multiple connectors and integration packages and lots of improvement in the platform’s UI and UX.
APPSeCONNECT Hackathon 2022 was held from 23rd to 24th of September. The event took place in a hybrid mode and the team, also known as the Automation Champs, joined in from both home and office to deliver some of the most innovative and creative integration projects within 34 hours. The event was centered around the theme of “Connecting the Unconnected”, with participants working to create connectors and integration packages for a wide range of systems and technologies.
The best-featured ideas pitched by Automation Champs prior to the event were hand-picked, and the final teams were formed to curate an event full of energy. It brought forth disruptive ideas that would deliver unique complete Business Process Automation (BPA) solutions for enterprise IT ecosystems.

Some of the connectors and integration packages that were launched during the event include:
- Integration package for SAP ERP, Salesforce and Slack for allowing businesses to automate their processes and gain a more holistic view of their customers’ interactions and transactions across different departments and channels.
- Integration package for Sage 300, Dynamics 365 CRM and Microsoft Teams that ensures seamless flow of data between these systems, providing real-time visibility and accessibility of data and unlocking better decision making and improved operational efficiency.
- An integration package for Shopify, SAP, and Slack automation which enables businesses to manage customer and order data efficiently across all departments, reduce manual errors, and improve customer service.
- An Automation (BPA) Package for Real-Time Lead Journey Automation, which allows businesses to quickly add leads to their funnel and efficiently nurture them.
The teams were mentored by 9 veteran members who are experts in their fields, they guided the teams to help them win. The most enriching, competitive, and heated section of the event was the review procedure. The APPSeCONNECT Hackathon 2022 Jury consisted of 4 panels. Each team went through 3 review processes, and the Jury panel reviewed the projects of the team meticulously and provided them with timely guidance and tips.

To add to the excitement, exciting goodies were distributed to the Automation Champs. For the participants joining from the office, an elaborate spread was laid out, starting from Breakfast, Lunch, snacks, and dinner on both the days along with the goody bag to take home.
